- April 11, 2010 – Miitigoog is officially formed, with Dalles First Nation, Whitefish Bay First Nation, and Wabaseemoong Independent Nations as the founding communities
- April 11, 2010 – Miitigoog and Miisun sign evergreen Management Contract for the Kenora Forest
- Early 2012 – Miisun gains possession of Forest Resource License for the Whiskey Jack Forest harvest areas
- Early 2012 – MNRF and Miisun sign service agreements for the Whiskey Jack Forest for 2012 to 2020
- May 2012 – Northwest Angle #33 First Nation joins Miitigoog Trust as the 4th community to partner in Miitigoog
- June 2012 – Big Island First Nation becomes the 5th community to partner with Miitigoog
- January 2013 – Onigaming First Nations joined Miitigoog to become the 6th partnering community
- February 2013 – Shoal Lake #40 First Nation joins Miitigoog, becoming the 7th member community
- 2014 – Miisun branched out, and began a road construction and maintenance aspect of the company
- 2018 – Miisun purchased large excavator for road work and maintenance
- April 1, 2020 – Miitigoog signed Forest Resource License (FRL) for the Whiskey Jack Forest
- April 1, 2020 – Miisun signed an agreement to prepare the WJF Forest Management Plan (FMP)
- January 2021 – Miitigoog received annual SFI audit, where Miitigoog was re-certified with SFI
- September 2021 – Wabauskang First Nation officially signs on with Miitigoog to become the 8th member community
